Any Car, Any Tint – All For Just £180
Choose from a range of car Window Tinting options to suit your individual style.
Please note that the UK Car Window Tinting Laws for tinted front windscreens
and front side windows depend on when the vehicle was first used. There are no
rules for tinting the rear windscreen or rear passenger windows.
Please be aware that factory fitted windows are already tinted and by adding
additional tinting may result in your vehicle no longer being compliant for road
use, thus making it illegal.
Please view the legislation from Section 76 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and
No. 1078 of The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986 for guidance.

Ceramic Coating on New Cars 2 Years Apart – Great Service!
This is the second time I’ve used Pyramid to look after a new car with a ceramic coating.
I drove my new car straight out of the showroom and over to them on Wednesday morning and picked it up Friday morning so glossy and shiny, really blown away at the difference. Highly recommend them.

What is Car Window Tinting?
Car window tinting is the process of applying a thin, transparent film to the windows of a vehicle to reduce the amount of light and heat that can enter the car. This film, often made from polyester, is applied to the interior side of the windows and can significantly enhance the car’s appearance while offering various practical benefits. The tinting process involves cutting the film precisely to fit the shape and size of each window and then adhering it to the glass using a strong adhesive.
Car Window Tinting Heat & UV Ray Protection
Tinted films are designed to block a significant portion of the sun’s heat, reducing the interior temperature of the car.
They also block harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, protecting the occupants from skin damage and the car’s interior from fading and deterioration.
Car Window Tinting Glare Reduction
Tinted windows reduce glare from the sun and headlights of other vehicles, improving visibility and making driving safer and more comfortable, especially during bright sunlight or nighttime.
Car Window Tinting Privacy & Security
Window tinting provides privacy to the car’s occupants by making it difficult for people outside to see inside the vehicle.
Tinted windows can also deter thieves, as they are unable to easily see valuable items inside the car.
Car Window Tinting Aesthetics
Car window tinting enhances the overall look of the vehicle, giving it a sleek and stylish appearance.
Tinted windows can be customised in various shades and colours, allowing car owners to personalise their vehicle’s appearance.
Car Window Tinting Interior Preservation
Tinted windows protect the car’s interior from sun damage, such as fading and cracking of upholstery, dashboard, and other components.
They also help in maintaining the freshness of the interior by reducing heat, which can prevent materials from deteriorating due to excessive heat exposure.
UK Car Window Tinting Laws
The rules for tinted front windscreens and front side windows depend on when the vehicle was first used. There are no rules for tinting the rear windscreen or rear passenger windows.
Vehicles first used on 1 April 1985 or later
The front windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows must let at least 70% of light through.
Vehicles first used before 1 April 1985
The front windscreen and front side windows must both let at least 70% of light through.
Penalties for having wrongly tinted windows
The police or the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) vehicle examiners use light measuring equipment to measure window tint.
If your windscreen or front side windows are tinted too much you could get:
- a ‘prohibition notice’ stopping you using your vehicle on the road until you have the extra tint removed
- a penalty notice or court summons
