How to Use Pyramid Car Care Hydro Foam

• Pour 150 mL of Hydro Foam and 850 mL of water into our Hydro Lance
• Apply to the vehicle (out of direct sunlight and on cool panels)
• Allow to dwell for 5-10 minutes (do not allow to dry)
• Rinse thoroughly using a pressure washer

Pro Tips

There’s no need to rinse the car before applying Hydro Foam, as long as there is not a heavy build-up of mud. Instead, apply Hydro Foam to a dry vehicle for maximum cleaning power and efficiency. Just make sure the panels are cool to the touch and do not allow the product to dry out.

If you are dealing with an extremely dirty vehicle, you can also layer Hydro Foam over the top of our Citrus Prewash to remove heavy grime.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Hydro Foam strip or degrade waxes, sealants or ceramic coatings?

Hydro Foam operates in a safe pH level for our ceramic coatings. Being a powerful alkaline snow foam, it has the potential to degrade weaker waxes and sealants. However, if the vehicle is protected with a good quality wax or sealant, the effect will be negligible.

How many uses will I get out of Hydro Foam?

From our experience, most vehicles can be covered using half the capacity of a foam lance. This works out as 75mL of Hydro Foam (425mL of water) per wash. Hence, a 2.5L bottle of Hydro Foam should last for over 30 washes. This makes Hydro Foam an extremely cost-effective snow foam.

What should I do after using Hydro Foam?

Once you have pre-washed the vehicle using Hydro Foam and rinsed the product thoroughly, you can move onto the hand-wash stage. We recommend using our Revival Coating Shampoo for this step.
