About Pyramid Car Care
Pyramid Car Care has grown into one of the UK’s largest independently owned Paint Protection Film businesses. Based in Spetchley, Worcester, our 5,000 sq ft facility is home to a multi-skilled in-house team covering detailing, PPF, sales, customer service, marketing and specialist services like dry ice blasting.
We’ve been trading since 2016 and we’re still accelerating. Alongside our installation work, we’ve recently launched our own PPF range – including Gloss PPF, Satin PPF, and 80+ coloured film options. Our products are already being used by installers across the UK, and that trade side of the business is in the early stages of rapid growth.

The Role
We’re looking for a PPF Installer – or someone with the right mindset to train into one – to join our expanding department. You’ll be working on a wide variety of vehicles, from daily drivers to collector cars, helping us deliver flawless installs and a top-tier customer experience.
If you’re experienced, you’ll hit the ground running and help maintain our quality standards.
If you’re a trainee, you’ll work closely with senior installers to learn the craft properly and develop into a confident, capable PPF tech.
What You’ll Be Doing
Installation & Preparation
Inspect and prep vehicle paintwork prior to film installation (cleaning, decontamination, correction where needed).
Install PPF to a high standard on full vehicles and partial coverage packages.
Use precision fitting, cutting, trimming, and finishing techniques around complex areas (mirrors, handles, sensors, edges).
Ensure installs are free from bubbles, stretch marks, lift lines, contamination, and alignment issues.
Carry out final checks and quality control before handover.
Workshop & Team Support
Maintain a clean, organised bay and handle tools/equipment responsibly.
Follow safety guidelines and workshop processes.
Support other departments when required (e.g., wash/prep flow, vehicle movement).
For experienced installers: help coach trainees and contribute to raising department standards.
Customer Experience
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers where needed.
Treat each vehicle like it’s your own – no shortcuts, no “that’ll do.”
What We’re Looking For
Experienced Installer (Ideal)
1–2+ years of hands-on PPF installation experience (trade or retail).
Strong finishing ability and pride in clean, high-detail work.
Confident with both pre-cut kits and bulk installs.
Familiar with plotter/computerised cutting systems (preferred, not essential).
Good time management and ability to work independently.
Trainee Installer (We’ll Train You)
Some background in detailing, wrapping, bodyshop prep, or similar hands-on automotive work.
High attention to detail and willingness to learn the right way.
Patient, methodical and not scared of doing the fiddly bits properly.
Reliable, punctual, and someone the team can count on.

Physical Demands:
Comfortable standing for long periods.
Able to lift/move equipment up to around 25kg.

Working Conditions
This role is workshop-based in Worcester. Some flexibility may be required during peak periods, including occasional weekends, depending on workload. We’ll always aim to plan ahead sensibly – no chaos for the sake of chaos. As well as occasionally working from partner PPF businesses across the UK, where travel and accommodation costs are covered.
