Make sure you apply Fallout Remover to a cold surface, and never use it in direct sunlight or on a warm/ hot panel.
High-performance cars produce a lot more brake dust, and you may find that they need treating with Fallout Remover more regularly. Fallout Remover can be used to help remove stubborn brake dust contamination on alloy wheels.
Do not use Fallout Remover on wheels with carbon ceramic brakes.
The paintwork and wheels are constantly exposed to iron contamination. This comes from the brake discs, industrial fallout, and railway dust. Even brand-new vehicles are likely to be littered with embedded ferrous contamination after travelling for several months from the factory to the dealership.
Iron particles become embedded in the clear coat causing it to feel rough, and cannot be removed by routine washing. This is where Fallout Remover comes in. This dedicated chemical effectively dissolves these contaminants so they can be easily rinsed away. This is an essential step before claying and polishing.
Ceramic coated vehicles should also be regularly chemically decontaminated (at least twice per year) using Fallout Remover to keep the coating fresh and contaminant-free.
Pyramid Car Care Fallout Remover has been specifically formulated to effortlessly remove embedded ferrous contamination and has the benefit of being gel-based, giving it an exceptional dwell time.
On most vehicles it is a good idea to chemically decontaminate the paintwork using Fallout Remover at least every 6 months. If you plan on claying and polishing the vehicle, always use Fallout Remover beforehand to remove embedded iron contamination.
Fallout Remover can degrade waxes and sealants so it may be necessary to apply an additional protective layer after chemically decontaminating the paintwork. Fallout Remover will not strip ceramic coatings and should be used every 6 months to keep the coating in good condition.
Fallout remover contains sodium thioglycolic acid which turns purple when it reacts with iron. This is an indication that the product has successfully dissolved the embedded ferrous contamination so it can be easily rinsed away.

I had always used Bilt Hamber Autowheels as my go to fallout remover/ wheel cleaner as Pyramid did not offer 5ltr bottles. Now they do, it’s a no brainer. I have used this on the past few cars that I have done and have been super impressed at the performance. There is nothing to separate the pyramid fallout remover for the Bilt Hamber that I’d been used to using for a long time now. They both share the same gel consistency and start to “bleed” within a few seconds. (The best praise I could give the Pyramid stuff as I love Bilt Hamber Autowheels, which is widely renowned as a market leader in fallout wheel cleaning.) I genuinely will be switch all my fallout remover purchases and more to the guys at Pyramid who, as well as offering excellent products, have amazing, friendly customer service too.
